Pluja
A light gesture of everyday absurdity
Pluja is an experiment that was born on a napkin in a bar, in the small hours, during an affective conversation after a breakdown. No ambitions for design inquiries. It is simply a way of navigating real life through absurdity.
So we decided to create a fragile atmospheric event. The Cloud (on the ground) emits light towards The Puddle (on the ceiling) where it is reflected back into space. Pluja is what appears in between: a rhythm of spectral presences that emerge and disappear.
Through this intimate inquiry into how to dissolve the boundaries between the plausible, the tangible, and the imaginary — and how to question the everyday through fragile and bizarre gestures of fantasy — Pluja turns an absurd gesture into an everyday condition.
