Celebrar lo raro
A collective ritual in defense to rarity.
Celebrar lo raro (*Celebrating rarity) is a collective ritual, which turns hedonism into a practice of resistance. The intervention consists of two acts: Act 1: My tribe, a short film, co-produced between 44 Gen Z adolescents in search of the definition of their own tribe, of their individual and collective identity; Act 2: The Rare Procession, a procession through the city and with the city, where we will make noise, dance, sing and contaminate the streets with the rarity of each and every one who joins this improvised ritual. The city gets excited by the weirdness that identifies us in order to suspend stereotypes through an act of pure celebration. Celebrar lo raro is a part of the program of the festival Filmmaking for Social Change 22 based on the topic Tribes and Rituals.
