Anarqueology of a Field

Desire and survival on an abandoned golf course.

Anarqueology of a Field proposes a series of direct actions on the terrain of the old Can Sant Joan golf course. Through the construction of an anarchaeological view of the postnatural terrain, it seeks to build an atlas of critical cartographies that detect and explain the possibilities of other possible presents. The first iteration of the project invites a non-human collective to explore the territory of the abandoned field, while the second seeks to generate a festive atmosphere through human intuition and desire, accompanied by experimental sonifications of the movements of the non-human collective itself. Thus, we aim to reclaim this abandoned terrain and explore how new modalities of survival, affection and interrelation can be tested. The intention is to resignify this contested terrain and repopulate it with multiple new meanings with the capacity to trace an alternative present.
